Opportunistic Land Acquisition
In 2015, ViaWest Group purchased 135 acres of commercial land in Goodyear, Arizona, an outer suburb of Phoenix. In January 2007, we sold 118 acres to Liberty Property Trust in a highly-profitable transaction, prior to the economic downturn. ViaWest currently owns the remaining 17.77 acres of vacant land at the site. In the last several years, this location has attracted many of the large-scale industrial build-to-suits in Metro Phoenix.
